 The Argyll is a centre for live music and entertainment in the area. We have a range of weekly and annual events and are lucky enough to have some amazing musicians pass this way. Artists of the calibre of Martin Stephenson, Rory McLeod, Cara Luft, John Gomm, Paul Buckley, Janette Geri, The Bonfire Band, Gypsy Dave Smith, John Otway and Wild Willy Barrett and countless more have played here.

Tuesdays (March – November) The Medicine Show Presents…

The finest range of Americana, Blues and Country music from artists from around the world, shows most Tuesdays from March – November

Tuesdays (Winter) ‘Clint’s Cocktails’

Special Cocktails served up with panache featuring sparkly lights and Clint’s special music selection

Wednesdays – Redtooth Poker

All welcome to join the regular players for a friendly game of poker as part of Redtooth’s National League. Runs throughout the year

Thursdays – Quiz Night

 Join host Bob for a light-hearted evening of quizzing. Come as a team or you’re welcome to join with others on the night. Quiz is £1 per person to enter and the winning team gets a freshly cooked pizza to share! Runs throughout the year

Also on Thursdays (Autumn and Winter only) Argyll Curry Night – a dozen different curries to choose from with rice, poppadum, naan bread and mango chutney for only £5.95! Join us for a curry and stay for the quiz

Fridays & Saturdays (Spring, Summer & Autumn) – Live Music 

We welcome live acoustic musicians both locally and from all over the country to perform in the bar. Styles vary but we commonly see Folk, Traditional Scottish, Country, Americana and Blues and most artists play their own material rather than covers.

Friday (Winter) Bingo & Karaoke Night

Join your hosts Franner & Nigel for an evening of Karaoke fun with a warm-up session of Bingo to start!

Saturday (Winter) Mexican Night!

Introducing our special Mexican themed evening every Saturday night with full Mexican menu in the restaurant, delicious Margaritas and delightful decorations!
