The Bar at the Argyll Hotel
The Bar is the pride of proprietor Nigel Jordan who has taken it from strength to strength since taking over The Argyll in 2007, We offer real ales, fine wines and of course a great range of malt whisky as well as the widest range of spirits and liqueurs in the village, cocktails and a wide selection of soft drinks too. In all but the summer months we have a real log fire to sit around and cosy up to.

Real Ales
Nigel is a real ale man and through his efforts (and dedication to beer tasting) we now have four handpulls in the bar serving a rotating selection of real ale from both Scotland and the rest of Britain. We do, however, always have one local ale on tap, usually one from the excellent An Teallach Ale company in Dundonnell. For cider drinkers we always keep Westons Scrumpy and Old Rosie on draft as well as Strongbow in the bar, with extra guest draft ciders from time to time.
We were delighted to be included in the Good Beer Guide for 2011 and 2012 and are extremely proud to have been voted ‘Wester Ross Pub of the Year 2011’ by CAMRA members. Also in 2011 we were awarded Cask Marque status for excellence in Real Ale.
